Boom2:Volume Boost & Equalizer App Reviews

Be aware, this App is fantastic. Like, incredible. However I use the EQ and other effects way more then I use the volume boost. It would be great to have more Hotkey options!

I started off using a similar program called Hear. Eventually, I started using Boom 1 and Hear. Once Boom 2 came out, I completley uninstaled Hear and I’ve been using Boom 2 ever since. This is definatley an essential for me. I was skeptical at first, so I used a cracked copy of it, I’ll admit. But I’m sold and finally paid for it. Great app. The only reason I gave 4 stars is becuase there is always room for improvement of course, other than that, no complaints!

Greate sound increase. Greate sound effect. Greate audio from this little app! but there are no button or feature for reset.

Wait a year for it to actually work. For now, installing this app means no sound most of the time.

I loved version 1. Paid $20 for something that doesn’t work. I could care less about boosting files. The system volume booster no longer works. This is useless. Complete waste of money

I have my iMac desktop plugged into a high end stereo system. This app is what makes it! The external equalizer doesn’t do a very good job and modifyiing the sound compared to Boom. Thanks for making a fantastic app!!!!

Every once in a while a movie is just too quiet on the dialogue. Boom is awesome. Wouldn’t be without it now.

I having been using Boom for so long I have lost track. I know when i get a new computer it was the first program I wouls download. Broom brought a whole new level of sound to the computer. When I saw Boom 2 I had to have it. I got the free trial, because after being free for so long long it seemed pricey. when i opened thebpro gram and started using it I knew it would be worth ever penny. I am not an expert on audio and love a program you can install and forget about it, but can tinker around with when I have to time. Boom 2 is a home run. I would recomend it to everyone I know. Thanks and keep up the good work.

This is a terrible waste of $20. It makes things sound scratchy and noisy, I do not see how it “enhances” sound at all. What a waste, DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!!!

The app itself is really great. It truly makes your audio significantly louder and more dynamic, hence my rating of 5/5. But $20 is too expensive. I would love to have seen this priced at about $10. But if you need an to increase your volume on your Mac, and money is no issue at all, this is the app to get.

needed a new program to replace my old SRS audio sandbox when it wasnt supported anymore and i came across this! works great with my bluetooth speakers, my 5.1 stereo system and headphones, need to play around with the settings but after that it works great

I love this app but come on guys. $20? the original was $5 if I recall and that was worth it. I spent $20 to upgrade my computer a year ago. If you lower the price it will be way easier for me to recommend you to my friends like I did the old one.

What a difference. The sound output on laptops is terrible. That is until I installed Boom 2. For video editing for film, the rich and full sound I am getting after I installed Boom 2 is the best

Who out a doubt the best application period .. Before I downloaded Boom I could barely hear a thing on my Mac Book Pro .. Sound is extremely important to me .. It makes all the difference in the world and without this app I would have returned this computer ..

I have a pair of Bose speakers as well as a pair of Audio Technica QuietPoint headphones and the Bose speakers always performed great, but the headphones were missing a punch. So I stumbled upon this app and gave it a try. I was surprised! So surprised that I decided to purchase the app and the sound from the Bose speakers is now SUPER amplified and the sound in my headphones are night and day. The ability to pick preset equalizers, customize your own eq and also add other cool features make this app a must buy. Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed!

Couldn’t be more pleased with this app. Anyone who enjoys music via their computer this a must.
